Any staff members and students attending a K-12 school, college or bootcamp.

To get verified, you need to fill out this form.

Make sure to register for Play using your school email address (if you have an existing account, you can update the email address in the user dashboard). Include your educational email address in the form as well.

We will also need a document that verifies your enrollment or affiliation with the school (like a picture of your school ID, transcript, etc). Please remove or black out any personal information (like address) other than your photo and name.

It may take up to 14 days to verify your application. When you are verified, you will receive an email from Play with a code you can add to your account.

Once you’re verified, you get 1 Team workspace and 1 paid editor seat included.

If you’re eligible, you can re-apply for the educational discount again. You also have the option to downgrade back to the Free plan or any other paid plan.
